Our South Australian Properties

The directors independently own and manage two South Australian properties that provide direct access to the botanical and grape materials central to Pure Extracts Company's activities. Both properties enable agricultural knowledge to be gained, with practical involvement in cultivation, harvesting and responsible land management.

Monarto South

Murraylands, South Australia

The Monarto South property is dedicated to the commercial cultivation of selected Australian native medicinal plants alongside extensive revegetation and habitat restoration.

Since 2023, more than 7,000 medicinal plants have been established, predominantly Eremophila alternifolia. Other cultivated species include Eremophila longifolia, Prostanthera, Callitris gracilis and Pittosporum angustifolium.

A further 30 acres, independent of the commercial plantings, have been established with native revegetation with thousands of locally appropriate plants established and approximately 48 kilometres of direct seeding undertaken in 2025.

The property provides a reliable source of cultivated botanical material, with close attention to plant selection. Our harvesting techniques supporti subsequent optimal extraction activities.

‍Greenock

Barossa Valley, South Australia

Established along Greenock Creek in 1864, this historic Barossa Valley vineyard is now owned and operated as De Fazio Vineyard. Through thoughtful land management and a commitment to sustainable viticultural practices, the property supports a healthy, balanced natural ecosystem that contributes to the vitality of the vines and the quality of the grapes.

Planted predominantly with Shiraz, alongside Grenache and Mataro bush vines, the vineyard preserves its viticultural heritage through generations of careful replanting using material propagated from the original vines.

In addition to traditional wine production, the vineyard provides grapes for the preparation of specialised botanical extracts containing naturally occurring polyphenols, particularly resveratrol.

De Fazio Vineyard provides an important foundation for the development of Pure Extracts Company's grape-derived preparations.

‍Environmental Care

At Pure Extracts Company, environmental responsibility begins with the land on which our plants are grown.

Our cultivation is undertaken with consideration for natural resources, long-term land care and the management of the surrounding environment.

At Monarto South, commercial botanical production operates alongside substantial native revegetation and habitat restoration, demonstrating how agricultural enterprise and environmental care can work beneficially together.

The principles of prioritising environmental care extend to our extraction and manufacturing activities, where we seek to use resources responsibly, minimise unnecessary processing and consider the impact of our operations when developing products.

Environmental stewardship remains an ongoing commitment across our operations.
